Guru Nanak English Medium Public Schoolis spreading the message to all that it is not only imparting knowledge but also moulding a children into a decent human being, ingraining in him proper moral values which is the real need of the society in the country today.
Evaluation system in india has been deteriorating slowly. Most of the students are getting more than 90 percent. Even parents are after their children to score full marks in all subjects. Actually education does not mean to score hundred percent only. Different children have various skills and needs. A school must help them to hone their skills which will help them to fetch their livelihood in various areas. In our school we help the children to know how good they are in various grounds. Parents must also know the real standard of their children and not a mark sheet which misguide them. All the students may not be best in all subjects. The children have their own interest and ability for each subject. We must help them to excel in all subjects but we must not expect highest grade in every subject. Now the government is also thinking seriously that proper scrutinization in evaluation process is required. Now-a-days it so happens that even the cut off marks for admission is coming as 10 grade point in some colleges and universities which has got no meaning which is why, in our school, we present the real standard of the children in their report cards.
In our school we always try to send our children to participate in various interschool competitions and every year many students bring laurels to the school by winning prizes. Our motto is to prepare children to face the challenges of life in all fields.

Our Principal, Mrs. Madhumita Sahoo, a post-graduate in science from Ravenshaw College has done her B.Ed training from Calcutta University. She has 17 years of experience in educational field. She joined the school in 2002 and since then the school has grown in every aspects under her able guidance. Her 5 years of experience as vice–principal from the famous school TVM, Kandivali, Mumbai reflects in her dedication and commitment towards her work. Achievements : She was awarded by Bharat Vikas Parishad as Best Teacher while working in TVM, Mumbai.
She was awarded Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Samman Award organized by ‘Bhubaneswar Sambadik Sangha’ for her work in educational field.
Under her guidance many students from Guru Nanak English Medium Public School, received interschool prizes In various competition in Bhubaneswar.
